The Carnival Legend was launched in August 2002 from the English town of Harwich. It was built in the Finnish shipyard Kvaerner Masa-Yards in Helsinki. This ship from Carnival Cruises shipping company operates under the Panamanian flag. At a length of 293 meters it can accommodate a maximum 2680 passengers. It consists of 1062 cabins, which are spread over 12 different passenger decks. Guests are looked after by a crew of 930 members. The ship is part of the “Spirit” series of Carnival Cruise Line and thus has three more sisters-ships.
